The position
The operations team is responsible for commissioning and operating High Voltage Systems on production sites in Kalundborg and Odense. The connection to the external power network is established at 132 kV or 60 kV and the system should be operated in a way, so it delivers robust, scalable and high reliability Power Supply since it is a critical infrastructure for our production of medicine. The operations team also operates the internal high voltage system on our sites supplying power to all factories and other buildings. To help us operating this critical infrastructure we are looking for an experienced people managers preferably with experience within operations of complex infrastructure. As our new People Manager, you will be responsible for:
-Setting the direction of operations on 2 major Danish production sites.
-Hiring more employees to our growing organisation.
-Your team will offer support to the projects building high voltage infrastructure.
-Develop our employees and produce talents.
-Manage stakeholders across different seniority levels in Novo Nordisk all the way from factory responsible, equipment owners, project managers to senior management.

Qualifications
Preferably you hold a master’s degree in engineering or similar with 5+ years of people management experience and can demonstrate solid results in developing an organisation. Furthermore, we expect you to have:
-Great problem-solving skills with structured and skilled approach in navigating high complexity.
-Experience with hiring and onboarding new employees.
-Documented experience in developing a strong team
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and experience at all levels.
-Ability to motivate yourself and your operations team.
-Fluency in spoken and written English and Danish.
As an individual with a can-do attitude, you work systematically, logically and proactively. You are self-driven, structured, robust and capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation.
About the department
The job is anchored in the department “High Voltage Operations”, which is part of Corporate Facilities. We operate high voltage systems on 5 major production sites in Denmark. We are responsible for operations, maintenance and re-investment in the high voltage systems on the production sites. We collaborate across many business areas of Novo Nordisk and with external partners including consultants and contractors. Your office address will be our Kalundborg site with frequent visits to our Odense site.
