Salary: Paid to ScaleA fantastic opportunity has become available for a qualified and adaptable primary school teacher to join a large, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school in Sittingbourne. This is a full-time position starting on November 4th, 2024, and running until the end of the academic year. The school is seeking a confident and enthusiastic teacher to take on a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 class. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing behaviour effectively, and fostering an inclusive, stimulating learning environment. You will be expected to take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and participation in school activities. • Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 or 2 curriculum, creating a positive and dynamic learning environment.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom, using effective strategies to manage behaviour and encourage cooperation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the academic and personal development of your students.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and school policies.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2.
• Be adaptable, proactive, and confident in managing a class and curriculum responsibilities.
• Be passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Be local to the Sittingbourne area or willing to commute.
• Hold a valid, up-to-date DBS or be willing to obtain one.
