The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning & Performance Management Analyst to join the Planning and Performance Management Department (P&PMD). P&PMD is primarily responsible for the coordination, consolidation, and preparation of the Business Plan and Midyear/Year-end Accountability reporting and presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors. The department serves as a liaison with various business segments and units, coordinating planning activities, performing variance analysis, and resolving issues. Additionally, P&PMD oversees monthly accountability reporting and prepares various other reports on a periodic basis.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and leading analytical activities related to planning and performance management (P&PM) under the broad guidance of higher-level P&PM staff and supervisors. This includes handling complex, cross-functional, non-routine, and design-related issues. Assigned Risk Professionals will also plan and coordinate risk management activities in alignment with the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.Key Responsibilities:
- Provides analytical findings and recommendations on regular P&PM tasks, including business plan preparation, performance tracking, measurement, performance analysis, and accountability reporting (40%).
- Conducts special P&PM-related studies such as performance initiatives, business cases, benchmarking, risk management, and the design and re-design of measurements, processes, workflows, and information systems (20%).
- Supervises, coordinates, and facilitates regular and special tasks by P&PM personnel, providing mentorship on analytical practices (30%).
- Focuses on risk management, acting as the business’s principal advisor on risk management processes, ensuring efficiency, integration with P&PM practices, and supporting gap identification and closure in governance and control environments (40%).
- Assists in formulating and implementing risk management training plans and reviews proposals related to major business initiatives to address risk management requirements (30%).
- Performs other related staff and analytical duties as assigned (10%).
Requirements:
- Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- An advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- 12 years of related experience with a demonstrated capability in planning and performance management, and the use of business intelligence tools.
- Possess solid knowledge of management accounting, finance, and Excel.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas is preferred but not required.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
