Your missionThe Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager is a pivotal role at the CyberPeace Institute, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex cybersecurity projects. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this individual will lead various projects, manage a junior staff member, and foster collaboration within consortiums and international teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity, proven project management experience, and exceptional communication skills.Your ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead and manage multiple cybersecurity projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including consortium partners, to align project goals and deliverables.Team LeadershipSupervise and mentor a junior staff member, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.Stakeholder EngagementEngage with various stakeholders, technical or non-technical, to understand their needs and expectations.Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other inquiries, working closely with the fundraising and governance teams.Communication and ReportingProduce high-quality written reports, project documentation, and presentations tailored to different audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ensure regular and transparent communication with the COO and other CxOs, providing updates on project status, risks and opportunities.Technical ExpertiseUtilize deep knowledge of cybersecurity to understand and address project challenges and requirements.Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies and best practices to inform project strategies and decisions.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve project management processes and tools for greater efficiency and effectiveness.Implement best practices in project management, risk management, and quality assurance.TravelOccasional travel (less than 20%) may be required to attend meetings, conferences, or site visits.Additional InformationStarting date: as soon as possibleDuration: indefiniteWorking rate: full-time at 32 hours per week (Mondays to Thursdays)Location: full remote (CET hours/timezone)Equal OpportunityThe CyberPeace Institute is an equal opportunity employer.
