THE OPPORTUNITY

In line with the Region strategy, the ILD Team Lead is accountable for the business & operational performance of the Specialty care products in pulmonary fibrosis.

In this role, you will manage the commercial and marketing organization to guarantee strong strategic vision and foster excellence in execution in full alignment with local rules, through a strong leadership.

You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, customers, accounts, and patient groups. Additionally, you will co-create value-added offerings that enhance access and engagement, while also leading the decision-making and implementation efforts of the local brand and sales team.

As the Team Leader for Specialty Care & ILD, you will lead the preparation and launch of a new product for pulmonary fibrosis. Your role will focus on strategic planning, execution, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the product’s success in the market.

This is a national function based in our office in Brussels, and you will report directly to the local Head of Marketing & Sales HP.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that sales figures, cultural transformation and allocation of resources are achieved.

  • Strive for proper collaboration and alignment with the region while ensuring local implementation of regional projects and processes.

  • Lead and inspire the sales representatives by managing talent and performance management activities (to drive commercial success and exceptional customer engagement).

  • Foster partnerships with internal (market access, medicine, omnichannel/digital…) & external stakeholders.

  • Provide regular analysis and contingency planning that meets regional/Corporate portfolio vision & strategic priorities.

  • Drive optimal cross-functional coordination and communication within the region, countries and corporate.

  • Lead the preparation and successful launch of a new product in pulmonary fibrosis, ensuring strategic planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive market success.

  • Shape the healthcare environment in Belgium, developing effective strategics and ensuring impactful execution.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and experience in leading teams.

  • Several years of experience within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.

  • Solid understanding of medical concepts and clinical knowledge, particularly in the pulmonary fibrosis area

  • Excellent command of the French & Dutch & English languages .

  • Drives business success and accountability within team and possesses strong strategical and analytical skills.

  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a growth mindset, be open to and drive changes.

  • Financial savvy and the ability to interpret and apply crucial financial information to make better business decisions.

  • Ability to engage effectively with KOLs.

  • Knowledge of platforms, customer insights and relevant tools, omnichannel experience

  • Strong in influence and persuasion abilities and a team-oriented outlook
