That is why our slogan is ‘Let’s Grow Together’!You will get the opportunity to work on an internal project and an intern or group of interns who are looking for a (thesis) project:How can BDO effectively equip its ESG practitioners with the necessary sector specific knowledge to support clients during the sustainability journey, in a dynamic and evolving landscape? What will you be doing?:The goal is to develop targeted learning materials for ESG practitioners at BDO, supporting clients through the sustainability journey of strategy, reporting and assurance. These materials will help practitioners understand sector-specific trends, impacts, risks and opportunities, best practices and innovations, enabling them to provide more informed and effective support to clients. The Sectors in scope: Retail, real estate, manufacturing, services, transport & logisticsThe expected outcome is the creation of training modules (in the form of PowerPoint presentations) that are based on desk research—covering trends, challenges, best practices of front runners, and (expected) innovations in the sector. additional Input and feedback will be provided through interviews conducted with our ESG Competence Center and industry leads, ensuring the output is both comprehensive and practical.Other internship tasks:-Develop and refine PowerPoint presentations, incorporating desk research and expert feedback.
-Collaborate with the ESG Competence Center and industry leads to conduct interviews and gather relevant insights.
-Optionally, assist in delivering the training sessions to BDO practitioners, allowing for practical application and real-time feedback.
– The selection of sectors, can be done based on the interest of the interns
-Continuous support of our ESG Competence center – working in an inclusive, dynamic environment What do you bring to the table?:

  • You are happy to take the initiative and present new ideas, but also receptive to your colleagues’ point of view. You make sure to keep them informed of a project’s progress; team spirit is the way to go for you.
  • Your work is analytical and meticulous. You are capable of objectively and critically assessing your own and others’ work.
  • Stress? What’s that? You are good at setting priorities and handle deadlines well.Delivering work on time is not a problem for you.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
  • You will graduate with a Master’s degree in 2025 and have strong interested in ESG/DE&I.
  • You have no problem with coming to our Zaventem office once a week (Wednesday) for the ESG team meetings.

  • Internship duration: minimum of 1 month, at least 4 days a week.
  • You receive a remuneration of 10 euros per worked internship day.
