We are assisting a leading delivery partner specialising in Data Centre Solutions with expertise spanning the entire lifecycle of data centre projects in their search for a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer. As Senior Electrical Engineer you will lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems across various projects, this role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Lead the design and development of electrical systems and prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.Perform technical reviews and audits including verification of cable sizing to ensure design integrity and resolve any technical issues with innovative solutions.Develop testing and commissioning plans for electrical systems and oversee the testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical installations.Review and manage equipment and quotations for the supply of material ensuring sustainability & efficiency.Participate in internal & external meetings and surveys as required & update relevant parties of electrical engineering developments & issues.Ensure Health & Safety, Environment and Quality are followed and maintained on site.Work closely with Project Manager in discussing the effective electrical installations & electrical resource allocation.Prepare comprehensive & updated project documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and as-built drawings ready for review or submission.Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.5+ years’ experience in Senior Electrical Engineer role with Electrical & Mechanical contractors with focus on Data Centre projects.Strong knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems, installation, components, and design principles.Proficiency in Electrical Engineering software & tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate is eligible to work in the Netherlands with no visa restrictions.
