Job descriptionProspero Teaching is currently looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to teach in lovely Primary schools based in the Bristol area. We are partnered with several schools and have part-time, full time, long-term and short-term roles available.The schools we work with are looking for Teaching Assistants who have a passion for teaching and learning. The teacher will need to help deliver lessons to a high standard. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will work with Class Teachers with the delivery of subjects and curriculum.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation: BristolPosition: Primary Teaching AssistantType of work: day-to-day and long-term teaching in Primary schoolsStart Date: ASAPDuration/likely Duration: Long termContract Type: Part time and full time depending on school’s needs.Minimum rate of pay: From £90 – 110 a day.Hours: 08:30am-4pm (full time), half day (am or pm), individual lesson coverEXPERIENCEUp-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable not essential)DBS on the update system or willing to proceed through process.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold right to work in the UKHold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related referencesOTHERIf you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
