You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the needs of individual learners. In addition to classroom teaching, you will provide support to students who may need extra help with their studies and contribute to the overall academic success of the maths department.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging maths lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their best.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying abilities and learning styles of students.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide extra support to students who may need additional help with their mathematical studies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the maths department to share best practices and develop resources.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A degree in mathematics or a related subject is highly desirable.
• Experience teaching maths at secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to raising student achievement.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school environment.
