Our culture is important, and you will be joining a team with a supportive creative team spirit that always aspires to develop and increase their knowledge.In this position you will work with one or several of AbbVie’s therapy areas developing reimbursement and market access strategies for both new and existing products. For reimbursement applications you will be the one writing and submitting the applications and have direct dialogue with the HTA agencies. You will also be a strategic partner in the brand team of your therapy area and conduct real-world-data studies/analyses for brand positioning and payer evidence. In addition, you will have the possibility to work with activities to shape the market access environment both individually and in collaboration with governmental affairs and regional market access.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Scandinavian reimbursement strategies. Write and submit reimbursement applications including modeling work, have dialogue with HTA agencies and contribute in negotiations with payers.
- Identify and conduct strategically important RWD studies/analyses for brand positioning and payer evidence for both pipeline and existing products.
- Work cross-functional to develop and implement market access strategies including supporting important customer meetings on regional level. Develop and implement health economic tools/materials such as budget impact models to support value propositions.
- Contribute to developing the vision of the access/life science landscape and initiate activities to reach it. Can be conducted both individually, in collaboration with governmental affairs/regional market access/patient relations and through work within the trade associations.
- Provide input to Europe/Global about affiliate needs when developing global HEOR deliverables. Adapt models to Scandinavian requirements and when needed develop models/analyses from scratch.
Qualifications
- Scientific, economic or statistic/epidemiology degree.
- 5 years or more of relevant experience with proven track record of success in HEOR&HTA or RWD projects/studies.
- Excellent knowledge of at least one Scandinavian healthcare environment (including the processes for pricing and reimbursement within this country).
- Strong in data analytics and model adaptations/development.
- Proficient English, both written and spoken and in one of the Scandinavian languages.
Desirable Requirements:
- Machine learning, application of artificial intelligence experience.
- Experiences and knowledge from HTA&HEOR/market access work in several Scandinavian countries.
