We count on high-level faculty who bring real-world experience into the classroom and foster a hands-on approach to learning.From IE Editorial Knowledge we promote and distribute the knowledge created by the IE community through various strategies, projects and activities, collaborating closely and transversally with the schools and research centers that are part of this institution.As a Advisor, you will be in contact with academic content, helping authors in all the steps of the publication process, from contact with publishers, content review and final promotion and dissemination. During this process, you must have an eye for detail and an expert knowledge of the Spanish and English language to coordinate, review and edit content. You will also have to develop various promotional activities and strategies to achieve maximum dissemination.Our PeopleAt IE we are:

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid. Responsibilities:Your role as an Advisor, IE Editorial will involve:

  • Analyze current work practices and policies (i.e. Equality Plan) to determine overall state of employee relations and make changes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee legal contract terminology and suggesting additional rules and regulations as necessary.
  • Develop and present informational briefings for management to improve understanding of labor laws and promote management solutions.
  • Giving advice in contract termination.

Qualifications:To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Law and master in labor relations or related field.
  • Minimum 3-year experience in human resources or employee relations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions
  • Listening skills as well as the ability to understand people’s background and motives
  • Ability to present information and have conversations with employees and managers from different levels
