Role: Research Manager, Prime Video & Client Studios
Duration: FTC (12 months)
Location: London, UKThe Consumer Insights team is looking for an experienced market researcher to lead primary research projects across the EU. The successful candidate will have proficiency in market research principles and project management experience. They will have analytical abilities and proficient written and verbal communication skills. This is a newly created, fixed term role, requiring someone who will take ownership of all research studies. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and autonomy, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. They will work closely with Data Science, Development, Content, Acquisition, Marketing and Finance teams, always making sure to represent the voice of our customers. They will also collaborate closely with remote Consumer Insights team members based around the EU, promoting our established testing mechanisms and continuously innovating.The ideal candidate will:
- Identify appropriate methodologies based on business and research objectives
- Partner with the consumer insights leads to support on ongoing research initiatives
- Partner with internal Panel Operations team, to oversee the programming and deployment of research projects with Client Prime Video customers
- Work with vendors to ensure successful execution of research projects
- Support research projects using primary, secondary and syndicated data sources
- Accurately represent, and advocate for, the Prime Video customer in all analysis and meetings
Basic Qualifications
- Experience setting research objectives, writing surveys, and creating sound sampling and weighting schemes, and analysing results
- Experience supporting or leading different types of viewer studies such as episode testing, dial testing, concept testing
- Basic project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams
- Experience with applied statistics, predictive analytics, and mixed methodology research
- Experience in presenting research to convey key insights from analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on the research vendor side or within the research group of a media company
- Understanding of the television programming landscape is a plus
- Direct experience leading studies with various methodologies: online quant surveys, focus groups, 1:1, ethnos, online qual, mobile, etc.
- Experience working with panels, Tableau, SPSS
