The internship will commence in January or February with a minimum of 12 weeks.We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Fulfilment Sourcing team.This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of procurement and logistics. Under the guidance of our seasoned professionals, you will have the chance to contribute to optimisation projects and negotiations aimed at improving our logistics services cost picture and operational setup.You:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Logistics, Economy or Marketing.Interested in learning about the last mile services industryAt ease to connect and communicate with many different stakeholdersCommercial mindset and behaviourHave excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsLove teamworkComputer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Possess a professional level of English. Speaking French and/or Dutch is a plusWhat you’ll be doing day to dayPerform market research to build an understanding of the services industry and its playersSet-up a process for the department to keep market intelligence up to date, in collaboration with other countriesWrite a report on the evolution of services in Belgium/Europe, with a deep dive on the gig economy marketProvide administrative and reporting supportOur team within IkeaOur team is the voice of IKEA.
