The school is a vibrant community in which students, teachers, staff and parents work together towards the achievement of our mission and goals.Overview of the PositionThe Admissions Manager will play a key role in shaping the school’s student body. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Admissions Manager is responsible for managing the entire admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, while ensuring a warm and professional experience for prospective families. This role also involves strategic marketing efforts to attract, retain and enroll students. The Admissions Manager must reflect the school’s missions and values, ensuring that the admissions process is conducted with professionalism, care, and a focus on building a diverse and inclusive school community.Key accountabilitiesThe Admissions Manager is accountable for the following:Enrolment Management

  • Oversee and manage the full admissions cycle, from initial inquiries to campus visits, applications, assessments, interviews and final enrollment decisions.
  • Ensure the admissions process is smooth, efficient and welcoming to create the best family experience journey and service.
  • Review admissions process regularly to identify pain points during the admissions journey and implement innovative ideas to enhance the overall onboarding and admissions experience.
  • Lead the Admissions Team to:

-Ensure the team handles all enquiries swiftly and follow ups take place where necessary-Ensure the team deliver best-in-class school toursMarketing & Recruitment:

  • Work closely with the Director of Advancement to develop and execute targeted recruitment and marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of admissions-related marketing materials including brochures, website content, and social media posts.

Communications:

  • As the first point of contact, communicate with prospective families effectively to ensure they receive accurate and timely information and advice regarding admission to the school.
  • Working closely with the Communications team and working collaboratively to develop lead generation initiatives to ensure enrollment targets are met.
  • Work closely with the finance team regarding financial aid and scholarship process.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to review and develop effective communications templates, marketing collaterals and surveys to ensure smooth and effective communications with families.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Manage admissions data and records using the school’s admissions software.
  • Lead and prepare comprehensive reports based on data analysis and provide recommendations to improve and enhance admission process and customer excellence.
  • Ensure the database is up to date, accurate and effectively utilized for tracking.

Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Collaborate with the section heads to make sure the admissions process is seamless and stay up-to-date with information about the school’s academic programs and extracurricular activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, ensuring a positive and personlised admissions experience.
  • Create, plan and implement innovative programmes or recruitment events that help to promote the school to prospective families and partners.
  • Develop and nurture deep relationships with feeder schools, nurseries, international corporations, government entities, relocation agencies, executive recruitment companies to maximize enrollment and retention at ISB.

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure the admissions process aligns with the school’s mission and values.
  • Review and update admissions policies and procedures to maintain best practices in the industry.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of student and family information in compliance with data protection policies.

Skills and competencesQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in using admissions or CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of the international school landscape and cultural sensitivity to work with families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
