Job Description#LI-BA1This role is a strong opportunity to elevate digitalization in financial planning in the LEGO Group and to gain E2E knowledge on the LEGO Group’s financial processes and grow a strong network across the organization!As part of the Corporate reporting and planning team, you will play a key role in using data and drive innovation and continuous improvement in the financial planning processes and build on your already excellent finance data scientist career!No relocation assistance is offered for this positionCore ResponsibilitiesDrive the aspiration on business analysis and push the data focus in defining the new financial planning processesLeverage data driven forecasting in financial planning e.g. via driver-based planning, predictive planning and sensible machine learning to drive automation and reduced cycle time with less effortEngage with partners across Finance to drive the implementation and support the change journeyBe one of the subject matter experts training and supporting colleagues building confidence in the data driven approachCo-drive validation and recommendation on the model selection in a new forecast engine in collaboration with the technical developersPrepare the reporting supporting transparency in the models and building a storyline on the developmentPlay your part in our team succeedingDo you have what it takes?We expect our preferred candidate to hold a Master’s degree in Data science/Data engineering/ Economics / Finance or similar5-8 years of experience with data science or data engineering, preferably with a focus on financeStrong analytical skills and experience with predictive planning/ machine learning /Python/R or similarSuperb communication and collaboration skillsLocation in Billund or Copenhagen officeApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
