Senior Manager for the Digital Excellence team, Valby

Are you excited about digital transformation and driving real impact in the life sciences sector? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Manager to lead our Digital Excellence team in Valby.
 

Your new role

In this position, you will lead a skilled team of digital expertise and play a crucial role in shaping our digital transformation journey. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, leveraging digital technologies to enhance our business, and positioning our team for growth on key projects. Beyond team leadership, you will spearhead selected strategic initiatives, including digital strategy development and governance facilitation. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the integration of new technologies and strategic priorities, transforming aspirations into actionable roadmaps.

Your future team

You will support a dedicated, skilled, and creative team that collaborates daily with the business to explore and advise on digital transformation initiatives across R&D, Commercial, Production and Corporate Functions. This team orchestrates a range of capabilities, including digital strategy development, use case exploration, portfolio management, governance, and UX/UI design. Working horizontally across business functions, they collaborate with Digital Partners to translate business challenges into value-driven digital initiatives. Initiatives could be anything from leveraging AI to advance Lundbeck’s pipeline to utilizing digital solutions to personalize the patient experience. The team is committed to evolving our digital excellence based on emerging trends and business needs.

What you bring to the team

As a skilled and visible leader in digital transformation, you are expected to engage with senior stakeholders and build solid relationships with business and IT colleagues. Your leadership will leverage the team’s digital expertise to contribute to prioritized initiatives, position the team for growth, and promote the Digital Excellence capabilities within the organization.
 

Required Qualifications

-Proven history of leading teams or managing C-suite stakeholder relationships.
-Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
-Capable of independently leading projects and guiding team members based on a comprehensive skillset and experience.
-Possess 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years as a project manager or project leader in the field of digital transformation or management consulting.
-Able to build good relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels and serve as a trusted advisor to top management.
-Demonstrate strong analytical skills while effectively communicating and translating complex digital opportunities to diverse audiences.
-Experienced in developing, executing, and realizing the benefits of digital and customer strategies.
-Proficient in digital tools and technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
 

You will be part of the management team in the Digital Transformation department and part of the extended leadership team in Global IT.
