ABOUT THIS ROLE

Audible is looking for an experienced, proactive and detail-orientated Production Coordinator to support the production and delivery of the exciting upcoming brand-new full cast audio productions of the Harry Potter series, coproduced by Audible and Pottermore.

Focusing this particular project with the opportunity to work across all of our content streams, the Production Coordinator will be instrumental in facilitating the smooth running of this project. Coordinating in-house, third-party producer and key stakeholders to help shape production processes and best practices for this project. They will help guide our internal and external partners through the life cycle of the productions. Additionally, they will contribute to streamlining production processes, optimising tracking systems, and establishing best practices to ensure the project’s success. The remit of this role is broad, exciting and challenging.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Audible’s Content Team is responsible for the commissioning and delivery of world class audio entertainment. We are a highly creative team who use data and creative relationships to bring true meaning to ‘premium content’. The team is the driving force behind Audible UK’s production output, producing audiobooks, audio drama, podcasts and theatre productions.

This position is a 18-month fixed-term contract.

As Production Coordinator, you will…

  • Provide high-level administrative and organisational support for key stakeholders involved in this exciting project

  • Help ensure all production milestones are met, as well as create and update any reporting and tracking tools

  • Serve as a key point of contact for project updates, coordination and processes throughout the project lifecycle

  • Collaborate with the production team to continue to develop clear plans, systems, and processes as the project develops

  • Assist the team with booking and organising logistics of any on-mic and off-mic talent, or third-party producers

  • Onboard and motivate a wide range of freelance producers, agents, directors, talent and production companies we may partner with

  • Collaborate with the production team so the production runs smoothly, looking after file management, scripts, contracts and payment info

  • Work closely with internal teams (finance, production, legal, merchandising, marketing etc.) on production administration, queries, promotional activities and utilisation of our in-house production resources

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an Operations or Production Coordinator, or similar role, with administrative experience

  • Experience working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and supporting team members

  • Demonstrated experience using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, with experience working with invoicing, financial management, or accounting software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Airtable, or other project management systems

  • Experience in a Media/Production Environment, or an understanding of content production processes

  • Experience with organisational, logistical, time-management, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience to convey information clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally

  • Experience working independently, proactively, and meeting deadlines
