What you will be doing
- Take the lead in innovating and developing a world-class Observability solution, enriching it with data from across the organization
- Foster a centre of excellence for Observability, offering guidance and support to teams
- Be part of building exciting, new platforms in the cloud, using cutting-edge technology
- Approach challenges with creativity, providing thoughtful and innovative solutions that inspire others
- Develop seamless integrations that enhance both operational efficiency and business insights
- Design, implement, and maintain intuitive logging and monitoring pipelines for applications in public and private cloud environments
- Offer supportive design guidance and operational assistance to development teams on logging and monitoring for cloud-based applications
- Steer the automation of monitoring deployment and maintenance, while managing a variety of logging and monitoring tools
Who we are looking for
- Extensive experience with AWS, ideally with AWS Architect certification, alongside solid skills in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in observability tools, including Splunk Enterprise logging, and integrating systems with observability toolsets for high-performance API-based application
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities, able to steer projects from prototype to final release and communicate effectively with varied audiences
- Direct experience in Agile development, version control (Gitlab), and infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, with a keen interest in DevOps trends
