If you are passionate to lead the delivery of accurate performance of accounting operations within the end-to-end service delivery model ensuring the month end reporting for a cluster of countries and to lead continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery model and audit then this role is just for you!WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BETake E2E ownership for the accuracy & correctness of the books for a cluster of countries with medium-complex legal structureTo manage and co-ordinate the end to end process for transacting, closing and reporting the Group accounts including control and reconciliation of the general ledgerEnsure effective management of all input to financial systems and the control, verification, and processing of all financial transactions – either through the own team or the external service providerEnsure accounting rules are properly applied for both management and financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards and secures integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practicePresent & explain movements in financial statements to National Finance Director or VP Finance in quarterly close meetingsVerify accounts reconciliation performed by service providerEnsure intercompany balances at minimum levelTo lead strategic continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery modelManage the relationship with Service Recipient Managers in the MCOs. Interact with the Controllers and National Finance Director or VP Finance wherever requiredDeveloping win-win relationships with selected providers to meet our current and future requirementsTake responsibility for the end-to-end financial accounting process for all countries servicedWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & QualificationsUniversity degree (preferable accountancy, economy, or finance) or ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant would be an assetGood knowledge of IFRS and Financial Accounting (R2R) confirmed by 2-3 years of experienceDemonstrated track record of excellent service delivery and crisis managementSkillsEmbedding a service excellence mindset and focusing on client and user needsEffective communications both written and oral in EnglishAbility to apply professional knowledge in accounting provisions, accounting principles, preparation, audit and disclosure requirements to make appropriate judgements and recommend solutionsProject and Change ManagementPerformance ImprovementNetworkingLeadershipYou are energized by delivering fantastic results.
