We operate on an international scale with offices in 48 countries, and our Copenhagen team offers strategic support across IPG Mediabrands Nordics clients and beyond.KINESSO supports the Interpublic Group Companies (IPG) media agencies UM and Initiative, as well as servicing our own direct clients.At KINESSO we offer integrated solutions covering digital consultancy, Paid Social, Paid Search, Open Web marketing, SEO, UX/CRO, Content, DTA (Data, Tech and Analytics), and E-Commerce solutions.KINESSO supportsWe are one of the world’s most passionate and ambitious digital marketing agencies – earning the right to create and deliver digital marketing strategies for exceptional brands such as Johnson and Johnson, Pernod Ricard, and many others.ABOUT THE ROLEThe SEO Director will be leading strategy, planning and performance oversight across existing client work, ensuring performance is at an optimal level, providing strategic and tactical guidance on best practices and delivering on agreed KPIs and collaborating and working seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Paid Search, Paid Social, Open Web, CRO/UX, Analytics, as well as client services and creative teams.You will be a line manager for the Experience team (SEO, UX/CRO, and Content) and will be responsible for the daily operations in the SEO team, training and supporting the SEO staff to develop their skillset and successfully manage daily optimization of accounts.
- Manage team’s workload, execution on accounts, monitor performance, and adapting deliveries to perform against targets.
- Monitoring of SEO management across portfolio, ensuring quality levels are as expected, tasks are coordinated, and adjustments are made as required to deliver on client expectations.
- Drive optimization and testing across accounts to ensure all accounts are performing as efficiently as possible and assist in defining elements of SEO projects to set expectations of what is and is not in scope for a given retainer or project.
- Owning SEO 3rd party tool conversations and championing proprietary tools to drive innovation / growth and ensuring best practice recommendations are implemented across client portfolio.
- Leading the development and presentation of SEO audits, forecasting, reporting, performance reviews and training.
- Creating and maintaining good working relationships and offer guidance, support, and direction on SEO projects.
- Taking a proactive role in identifying relevant growth opportunities and support in selling in new projects.
- Assist in new business and up- / cross sell proposals and pitches.
REQUIREMENTS
- An exceptionally strong knowledge and understanding of SEO including strategy implementation for large-scale e-commerce and international websites.
- A broader understanding of how SEO and media channels can power each other’s performance.
- Experience managing a team or several individuals.
- Good project and/or workload management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
- Strong business writing skills and ability to communicate with external partners and clients.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.
- Proactive behaviour that will help drive the team and agency forward.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
