They offer an excellent work environment with opportunities for professional growth, involvement in cutting-edge projects, and career development.As an E&I Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of offshore projects. This position requires a highly autonomous and proactive electrical engineer who can introduce innovative approaches to project preparation and contribute fresh insights to the industry by developing tailored solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, review, and assess installation data (drawings, operation procedures, datasheets) for platforms and jack-ups.
- Design and propose interface solutions for instrumentation and power systems between platforms and jack-ups.
- Review project team requirements for power supply and assist in designing, procuring, and installing appropriate electrical layouts.
- Troubleshoot and support the offshore team during projects, particularly in managing platform controls and addressing E&I-related issues.
- Provide electrical and instrumentation expertise, assisting the rig management team with any E&I tasks on rigs.
- Serve as technical support for offshore rig electricians.
- Oversee offshore activities during key project phases, especially in the preparation and execution of interfaces.
- Ensure that company procedures and work comply with relevant rules and regulations by providing expertise in electrical and instrumentation matters.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an industrial setting with a strong focus on E&I engineering and site operations.
- Offshore/Marine Experience: Previous experience in offshore or marine environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards, with a willingness to learn new regulations related to the marine and offshore sectors.
- Legal: Right to work in the Netherlands.
- Travel: Willingness to travel both onshore and offshore.
- General knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Language: Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
