  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on permit applications to Dutch authorities at local, regional, and national levels.
  • Serve as the primary contact for government agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage concerns and negotiate conditions to obtain permit approvals.
  • Coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and other required environmental studies.
  • Assess risks associated with the permitting process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Integrate permit-related requirements into project planning.
  • Inform local stakeholders about the benefits and importance of solar and BESS projects.
  • Focus primarily on utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects ranging from 200 MW to 1.5 GW.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to secure necessary permits efficiently.
  • Take ownership of community engagement and participation.

What do you need?

  • Track record of permit obtainment and thorough understanding of the process within the renewable energy sphere in the Netherlands.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of the energy industry, as well as Dutch policy.
  • Experience in community participation and engagement.
  • Proactive approach and motivation to be an active part of the energy transition.
  • Interest and drive to work on innovative technologies and find creative solutions to the challenges in the Dutch industry.
