The Danish part of COWI’s business has 4,000 employees and became ISO 45001:2018 certified in 2020 as a part of our Group certificate.Daily, you will:

  • Develop and maintain the H&S Management System per ISO 45001 and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and promote programs and campaigns to enhance the management system and integrate it throughout the organization.
  • Advocate a positive safety culture focused on learning rather than blame.
  • Investigate and address incidents, turning them into learning opportunities while maintaining safety performance.
  • Align with COWI International’s initiatives and develop programs to ensure safety at operational sites.
  • Organize and assess H&S drills

  • 5 years of work experience in a similar role in a large-size company.
  • Experience with risk-based operations and balancing “work as described” with “work as is.”
  • Knowledge of H&S legislation and experience with ISO 45001, including change management.
  • Ability to work across borders, share knowledge, and build positive relationships and experience navigating a large, matrix-structured organization.
  • Comprehensive communication skills for interacting with management, project managers, and colleagues.
  • Excellent English skills oral and written
  • Broad experience in on-site or field engineering, training, and introductions with deep experience with ISO standards and their implementation.
