  • In charge of Ecodesign and Fire & Smoke for tenders & projects
  • Feed the Environmental Management System (ISO14001) with ecodesign input and activities
  • Manage & improve environmental performance of products
  • Contribute to Ecodesign R&D and to expertise continuous improvement
  • Manage & improve environmental performance of products

MAIN RESPONSABILITIESPerformance / measurement/ KPIs

  • Ecodesign activities on Tenders & Project. On Time Delivery and Customers satisfaction
  • Ecodesign product performance reported in Ecodesign dashboard
  • Fire & Smoke project planning
  • Fire & smoke product development specifications
  • Inputs for Project Safety Design Reviews – on time and documented.

Responsibilities– Definition of requirements for Ecodesign and Fire & Smoke in the projects and tenders :– Ensure Ecodesign and Fire & Smoke expertise for local platform, subsystems, tenders and projects– Perform Ecodesign and Fire & Smoke activities on tenders (contractual and legal requirements analysis and positioning)– Prepare Ecodesign and Fire & Smoke management plan and specifications (train, compo or signalling level)– Participate to design (train, compo or signalling level) in order to insure achievement of eco design and Fire & Smoke commitments– (Participate to relevant DR and GR meeting, propose corrective actions and risk mitigation plan)– Realise and update Eco design and Fire & Smoke studies until delivery of the last train– Implement relevant Eco design and Fire & Smoke R&D and CCN results in projects– Verification of supplier’s deliverables/certificates for Ecodesign and Fire & Smoke.– Preparation of reports / documentation according to QCD and Ecodesign/Fire & Smoke processes– Support the team to achieve authorization.– Database maintenance to store the evidence with the support of sourcing– Contribute to the local Ecodesign commitment definition and deployment.– Environmental Management System – ISO14001:– Propose Ecodesign yearly commitment and work plan– Propose and follow eco design dashboard for solutions/products– Contribute to EMS and its processes.– Realise compliance assessment– Launch and follow-up of the project KPI regarding Ecodesign and fire & smoke.– Deployment of RSC processes– Inform the unit organization about Ecodesign and fire & smoke processes and their changes.– Continuous improvements in Ecodesign and fire & smoke processes.– Support of CCN activities (Alstom expert network).MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIESExperienceMandatory:

  • Ecodesign Engineer / Material Engineer with environmental experience / Mechanical Engineer with material and environmental experience
  • Technical background in the railway industry and/or in fire protection or comparable industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of international standards and guidelines regarding environmental and fire protection (hazardous substances, recyclability…)
