About the roleAs an Agile Delivery Manager (ADM) you will support, coach, and enable one or more cross-functional Agile teams.You will lead and facilitate collaborative Agile ceremonies, striving to anticipate and mitigate risks, manage issues and dependencies, and remove blockers and impediments. You will also lead your Product Team during Termly Increment (TI) Planning, as well as reporting on progress during Inspect & Adapt and Vision sessions.You will work closely with the Product Manager and/or Product Owner to deliver their product vision and roadmap. Additionally, you’ll proactively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders in the Information Services Division (ISD) and more widely across UCL and the research and innovation community.You will collaborate closely with UCL’s Research & Innovation Services (RIS) department, as well as HR and Finance, and the People, Money and Insight (PMI) Portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of UCL’s Worktribe Research Management System, and in helping to lead RIO’s Research & Innovation (R&I) Finance and Funding Product Team.About youAs an experienced Agile Delivery or Project Manager, you have experience in delivering agile products and projects, with excellent facilitation, collaboration and communication skills. Your interpersonal skills (including the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders) are exceptional and you’re naturally curious, always being proactive and looking to continuously improve how you and your team operate.You will need excellent analytical and reporting skills, and a strong ability to work with financial information. You understand how grant funding works, and how research and innovation finances are managed through a Research Management System.You can use Jira, Teams, Miro and other collaboration tools, and are confident with the budgeting and financial management of your team, always seeking to achieve value for money and benefits realisation. You manage risks and issues proactively, seeking to mitigate risk wherever possible, and manage interdependencies across the ISD portfolios and wider-UCL. Additionally, you have the confidence to represent your team and speak publicly, including leading Agile ceremonies, giving demos, and providing requested information and presentations to senior leadership.What we offerAs well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer some great benefits some of which are below:
