UCL Careers provides a ‘core’ service for students as well as bespoke support within some academic areas.UCL Laws is a diverse and progressive community of researchers, students, leading academics and alumni embedded in a top, research-oriented university.About the roleThe Laws Team Leader will oversee the faculty’s dedicated Careers provision, including delivery of UG and PGT events and 1:1 appointments, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, in addition to the line management of the Careers Consultants and Employer Engagement professionals within the Masters in Law and Finance team.The post holder will work with the UG and PGT Directors, and the the vice-Dean (Strategy) to lead, manage and develop (strategically and operationally) the UCL Laws
careers provision, and other activity as required, based on students’ needs.A full list of duties can be found on the attached job description.About youTo do this job you’ll need:-To be educated to degree level (or equivalent)-Substantial experience in HE Careers/related work, ideally in a Law context-Experience working in, or knowledge of, the Law sector-Experience of line management and people development-Experience of project management, including proactively developing and devising new activitiesWhat we offerAs well as the exciting opportunities this role presents, we also offer some great benefits some of which are below:
