Robert Half is currently seeking an AP Accountant for a long-term mission.Our client is a company in the media industry, located in the south of Brussels with excellent accessibility by public transport.As an AP Accountant, you will join a team of two people and your responsibilities will include:
- handle the processing of all purchasing invoices;
- ensure all supplier invoices comply with legal standards;
- managing and processing employee expense reports;
- preparing payments for invoices and expenses, ensuring deadlines are met;
- addressing supplier inquiries;
- developing KPIs, dashboards, and performing accounts payable analysis;
- enhancing processes through automation and participating in related projects.
The qualifications required for this position are as follows:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required;
- at least 3 years of experience in accountancy is necessary;
- fluency in English and the national language (French/Dutch); proficiency in additional languages is a plus;
- strong understanding of VAT is essential;
- ability to work effectively in a team.
