Promuoviamo la diversità e l’inclusione basandoci sulla nostra solida cultura aziendale.Job DescriptionThe mission of the job:The Credit Manager is responsible to manage the entire credit process of the Business Area Southern Europe, contributing to the development and implementation of the credit policies, actively safeguarding the business profitability ,minimizing the risks associated.The Credit Manager assesses the creditworthiness of existing and potential customers.Main activities:Customer credit risk and credit limit: assessment, definition, and maintenance Customer solvency controlBusiness partnering: define proper balance between business choices, compliance and economic/financial impactDecision on payment conditions (terms and methods) respecting group policies and local regulations.Negotiation of guarantees (bank guarantees, …)Responsible for the daily credit check and order releaseManaging customer credit insurance activities (negotiate the credit limit, turnover declaration, claim process)Definition, calculation and monitoring of KPIs (provision for bad debts, overdue, DSO)Analysis of overdue amounts, management of debt collection (pre-dunning and payment reminders), definition of payment plans to ensure that the agreed payment conditions are fulfilledCollaboration with legal office and external legal partners for claim disputes on collection activity and insolvency proceduresGenerate periodic reports and provide strategic insights to managementWork closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure efficient and effective credit managementMonitoring the application of group proceduresReview and update the internal procedures, improving process efficiency, ensuring standarization and compliance in all territoriesLead & provide the management support to the team of credit analystQualificationsTechnical/hard competencies:Business understandingControllingSoft/behavioural competencies:Leadership / AuthorityAbility to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise mannerAbility to negotiateRigorousProactiveAble to adaptAnalytical/synthesis skillsAutonomousInterpersonal skillsManagement competencies:Team ManagementAdditional InformationLanguage: English (B2 level)Education: Master’s Degree in Finance or Management ControlMinimal years of experience: 5-10 yearsThe protection of our candidates’ personal data is a commitment of Somfy Group.
