Help champion the Digital and Green Transition with Norlys.job descriptionIn the role as Infrastructure Specialist, you will become a crucial part of Norlys’ IT Shared Service Center, where they manage and maintain all internal servers, storage, and backup systems. The department is composed of 9 skilled specialists and a dedicated leader that values respectful collaboration and continuous improvement.The team handles critical infrastructure, making it essential to operate with cutting-edge systems that meet stringent security and performance standards. You’ll join a motivated and curious team always open to optimization and innovation. Expect regular knowledge sharing and teamwork, ensuring that you consistently deliver high-quality services across the company.Key Responsibilities:
-Manage VMware: Oversee and maintain Norlys’ virtual environments
-Virtual Machine Operations: Ensure smooth operation and performance of the VMs
-Backup Management: Administer and enhance backup solutions
-System Monitoring: Continuously monitor systems to ensure optimal performance
-Storage and Server Hardware: Handle procurement and upkeep of hardware assets
-Process Automation: Drive automation using tools like Terraform, Python, and PowerShellYou will participate in Norlys’ on-call rotation, providing essential support outside regular working hours as part of the IT readiness team.Your main workplace will be in either Århus, Esbjerg, Silkeborg or Aalborg, with occasional traveling to other locations.are you norlys’ next infrastructure specialist?As Norlys next Infrastructure Specialist, experience with large-scale server and storage systems is a plus, but Norlys values diverse backgrounds and is committed to equipping the right candidate with the skills needed for success.Your key qualities include:
