Would you like to manage exciting new projects in Kalundborg, where we produce half of the world’s insulin and several biopharmaceutical products?Come and join Purification Plants (PP) Project Office – we are on the lookout for multiple Project Managers for investment projects in our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Production.The position
As a Project Manager, your primary role will be to ensure that scope, time, cost and quality are on track in the projects that you are responsible for. You will be in charge of strategic investment projects ranging in size and complexity, from design phases to execution and validation for final handover to our key stakeholders and owners in Purification Plants. In PP Project Office, you will have the opportunity to manage projects from start to completion, ensuring the success of all project aspects.Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting business cases to estimate project potential.
  • Implementing and anchoring projects within the line of business.
  • Monitoring key project parameters and managing risk.
  • Transforming modern technology into operational excellence as part of the projects.
  • Making presentations at steering committee meetings.

Since we are looking for a couple of colleagues at different levels, we will be able to tailor the job to your level of experience.QualificationsWe imagine that a successful candidate has:

  • An educational background as an engineer or similar. You may also come with technical background or have a relevant academic education.
  • Min. 1 year of project execution or project management experience or/and experience within pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to create clear, high-quality presentation materials.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

To succeed in this role, you need to have project management skills and a proven ability to network, build trust in your relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders. Curiosity and eagerness to challenge the status quo in a respectful manner are natural parts of your skill set to ensure pragmatic solutions are presented quickly.You can be an experienced project manager from a GMP-regulated industry, or a project engineer, looking for the next step in your career.On a personal level, you are a self-starter who thrives in driving tasks independently. You have excellent analytical, planning and organization skills enabling you to continuously set direction, keeping an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly. With your strong logical ability, you succeed in transforming complex information from the scoping phase to execution and completion.
