Director of Communications

Location: Grace International School

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reports to: Chief Community Officer (CCO)

Purpose: To provide effective leadership and management of communications for Grace International School.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Professional Standards:

• Collaborate with the CCO and Principals to achieve organisational goals.
• Lead the Communications team, ensuring effective internal and external communication.
• Represent Grace’s mission, vision, and values through effective communication.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CCO.

Communications Strategy and Execution:

• Coordinate all external school communications for clarity and consistency.
• Oversee messaging and content for branding materials, including newsletters, videos, social media, websites, press releases, and more.
• Collect and manage digital media suitable for public use.
• Maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
• Manage social media accounts and websites.
• Oversee data collection and customer relationship management.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize GSuite platform usage.
• Develop and maintain branding policies.
• Create handouts, fliers, and other publications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. 
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a communications or marketing role, preferably in education.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisational and project management skills, creativity, and a passion for education.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and graphic design software.
