Position Overview:
An established leader in the medical diagnostics industry is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to take ownership of the Point of Care (POC) product line in the Netherlands. This role will focus on promoting advanced critical care diagnostics and POC solutions to healthcare institutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building long-lasting relationships with clients and consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Sales Success: Achieve and exceed sales goals within the Netherlands through strategic account management and business development.
* Customer Engagement: Identify and qualify new prospects, conducting product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
* Territory Management: Develop and execute a well-organized schedule of client visits, ensuring consistent follow-ups and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Data Management: Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track interactions and monitor account status, keeping all data accurate and up to date.
* Post-Sales Support: Provide ongoing customer support, including follow-up visits after installation, and assist in resolving any technical issues alongside the support team.
* Collaborative Initiatives: Work closely with the Applications Specialist to ensure the success of lab evaluations and other client-facing activities.
* Marketing Support: Partner with marketing teams to create impactful campaigns aimed at boosting awareness and driving sales in your territory.
* Budget Management: Monitor and manage operating expenses, ensuring alignment with the allocated budget.
* Market Insight: Report back to management on market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to refine the business strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
* Sales Expertise: Sales experience in clinical diagnostics or related fields (in vitro diagnostics or medical device sectors preferred).
* Technical Know-How: A background in bioengineering, biology, pharmacy, or medicine is a plus.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are crucial for success.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
* Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with technical support, marketing, and other departments to deliver a cohesive sales strategy.
* Travel-Ready: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the region, with occasional overseas trips.
