Furthermore, we just kicked off an exciting cultural journey, which you as a leader will be expected to role model.Let’s talk about the roleNovo Nordisk is growing in size and complexity and this calls for intuitive, integrated, and globally scalable solutions. You will join a global leadership team working closely together with P&O to deliver on an ambitious pipeline. You will head up a team of 20 Scrum Masters and Solution Architects and be responsible for orchestrating their allocation to agile teams, developing capabilities (for the individuals as well as the team) and ensure high motivation and performance. Together with the leadership team and key stakeholders you will set direction and translate business priorities into tangible plans for the team to execute.More specifically, your responsibilities will revolve around the following areas:

  • Lead the team of Solution Architects and Scrum Masters with diverse levels of experience, sets of competencies, and development aspirations
  • Ensure high team engagement and a keen focus on development of individuals and the team
  • Ensure sufficient capacity to meet future staffing demands, by hiring and assessing the potential for external partnering
  • Partner closely with your peer leaders and colleagues in P&O to set direction for our Agile Delivery Setup of around 300 internal and external colleagues
  • Take active part in the culture journey for the area, taking in the core beliefs of collaboration, curiosity, empowerment and belonginess
  • Act as sparring partner to the Vice President of the area, ensuring a close link between strategic direction and daily operations

The role is new, so you will have the opportunity to define it in close collaboration with the leadership team.What we scout forWe are looking for someone, who is passionate about leadership and who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. Someone who excels at empowering people and likes to challenge status quo. Ideally you have experience working in an agile setting and a solid understanding of IT development: From both a technical and a process-oriented perspective.The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following requirements:

  • Several years of leadership experience from a similar role
  • Experience navigating in large global matrix organisations
  • Experience leading high performing teams through personal advocacy and engagement
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Academic background within a relevant field, e.g., IT, Business, Human Resource Management, Engineering or the like
