  • Ensure the bank’s ability to react to critical failures in applications or data centers.
  • Collaborate with application owners to manage and follow up on Application Impact Analysis (AIA), Continuity Run Book (CRB), and Disaster Recovery (DR) Unitary Exercise documents.
  • Act as the main contact for several tribes regarding resiliency topics.
  • Conduct recurrent follow-ups with Tribe Continuity contacts on infrastructure and application changes affecting deliverables.
  • Contribute to the Fortis & IT Group transversal DR exercises, including validation of CRBs, capacity studies for infrastructure components, and planning DR exercises.
  • Facilitate DR exercises, which may occur during nights and weekends three times a year.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prepare and collect required information and build the Master Run Book (MRB).

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years as a resiliency engineer or in a similar role such as security engineer, OPS engineer, or architect.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of IT resiliency and continuity.
  • Proficiency in managing stakeholders and communicating effectively.
  • Ability to review and validate architecture and technical diagrams with a focus on resiliency.
  • Strong understanding of processes and procedures.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Mainframe, Cloud, Application development, Databases, Middleware.
  • Knowledge of technology landscapes and best practices in communication.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Embody scrum values: involvement, focus, openness, respect, and courage.
  • Inquisitive, driven, and always on the ball.
  • Team player who shares knowledge and insights.
  • Quick to make connections and question processes.
  • Able to work under pressure and make informed decisions.
  • Continuous learner who seeks to improve.
  • Strong command of English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications or advanced knowledge in resiliency and continuity.
  • Experience in complex environments and large-scale projects.
