• Active participation in generating ideas and translating them into developments that support the long-term business strategy.
• Participate in and lead (long-term) projects, in which Stage Gating is an important tool.
• If applicable in a development project, co-responsible for investment projects and delivery within R&D or Production.
• High-quality (final) reporting of projects as GIT’s ‘end product’, ensuring proper transfer to the Business.

Besides the more project-related activities, an active role is needed in supporting the business groups using Colback and Enka technologies and in strengthening our know-how, IP and expertise.Qualifications:Profile of the candidate

• Master’s degree, preferably with PhD, in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in R&D projects in a production environment.
• Knowledge of polymer processing is desirable.
• Experience and/or affinity with CAPEX projects.
• Good command of the English language, both verbally and written.
