Description and Requirements
The Channel Sales Manager is in charge of wining, maintaining, and expanding relationships with channel partners. They represent the entire range of company products (PC / Tablet / Servers). The Channel Sales Manager reports to the France Channel and SMB Sales Director.
Managing a team of Channel Sales Rep and/or Territory Managers, you are responsible for achieving sales out, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives at France Level. You are in charge of the sales transformation from BP Manager to Territory manager to develop SMB sales and Mid-Market sales throughout the channel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver against set goals for PC / Tablet / Servers equipment sale to and through major Small and Medium Business (commercial) re-sellers
- Lay the foundation for the future growth in the commercial PC / Tablet / Servers sales via the channel
- Engage with major commercial channel players to identify and close major opportunities
- Develop relationship with commercial channel which drives ongoing and regular sales
- Enlarge base of commercial re-sellers to support growth targets
- Grow share of wallet with existing commercial re-sellers to support growth goals
- Work with marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives for and jointly with the channel
- Empower Sales rep. to become territory manager, pitch value, solutions and services such as DaaS and visit/close deals with Mid-Market customers.
Position Requirements
- 10+ years proven track record in strategic selling
- Interpersonal and communication skills, leadership and the entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate and approachable.
- Ability to inspire, manage and coach people, previous leadership experience
- Adapt communication and approach to drive negotiations with various partners to conclusion, resulting in common agreements. Maintain and cultivate senior executive relationships
- 3-5 years channel experience, ideally proven established network within the business partner landscape in France
- Demonstrate expertise in building customers relationships, which promote and enable a deep understanding the Reseller business goals and objectives
