Support the company business needs within HR competencies in order to support reaching the company business and employment goals.Key Responsibilities:Perform front line HR duties for assigned larger/more complex country(ies) including performing more complex investigation, handling semi-routine employee issues, performing more complex compensation analysis, interpreting and advising managementAssess HR issues that require considerable judgment and risk management where Edwards policies and practices do not existPrepare talent development review (TDR) materials, facilitate TDR meetings, and train new managers and employees on processDesign and administer complex proactive programs, procedures and plans as it relates to driving employee engagement and employee relations, change management, talent developmentRecruitment cycle – support team Talent Acquisition in interviews and selection of candidates, cooperation with agencies, job posting, use of recruitment system Workday, cooperation and support to hiring managers on job offers, interview logisticsOn boarding and orientation process for new employees and support hiring managers for the agendaPreparation of payroll documentation, communication with external payroll providerAdministration and implementation of internal policies in compliance with corporate requirements and legal/social/economic restrictions of the countryManagement and organization of the wellness program and local initiatives (e.g. country meeting preparation, charity activities)Data Management – proper use of all HR systems, ensure compliance, maintain data up-to-dateKeep up to date with market situation and regularly monitor development of local labour market •Advise and coach leadership on a variety of business issues that impact talent and/or business operationsOther incidental dutiesEducation and Experience:Minimum of 3 years of previous related Human Resources experienceRequired Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, HR Diploma is preferredAdditional Skills:Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and HR systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skillsDemonstrated conflict resolution skillsGood leadership skillsProven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing moderate sections of projectsGood presentation and facilitation skillsAble to read, comprehend, write, and speak EnglishSubstantial knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas including: Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Leadership Development and Organizational DevelopmentSubstantial knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws and compliance implicationsExcellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and working knowledge of HR systems (e.g. Workday)Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skillsGood negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships across the organizationAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentAbility to assess risks, analyze situations and determine next course of actionAbility to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretionStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsMust be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and assigned client group(s), and representing the organization on specific projectsAbility to build productive internal/external working relationshipsAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/controlWhat is it like to work at Edwards Lifesciences in Italy?As a global leader in patient-focused medical innovations, we offer rewarding opportunities and exciting challenges in a truly international, dynamic and friendly work environment.We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment where all employees can grow, personally and professionally.
