The Position
As Senior Manager, you oversee the Raw team which consists of 3 managers and a total of approx. 45 employees. 

In this position, you will become responsible for the Supply Planning (Purchase planning), but also the Supply Management team (Supply Relation Management) for the entire Raw category reporting into the Director of Inbound Supply Management, becoming a member of the Inbound Supply Management leadership team.

This also entails taking responsibility for the operational horizon by ensuring timely deliveries, and supplier management and performance.

Your key activities include:

-Cultivating a climate of team wellbeing, encouraging people development, and driving innovation both within your team and across related departments
-Managing and setting the direction for the category, ensuring successful execution of category projects in close partnership with our Strategic Sourcing department
-Monitoring consistently supplier performance and actively engaging with suppliers in both the operational and strategic business reviews
-Driving continuous improvements in supplier performance year after year, building strong, lasting partnerships
-Adopting an end-to-end mindset and fostering close collaboration with the purchase planning and the Supply Management teams
-Overseeing that KPI’s are developed, implemented and maintained to enhance performance

Your role also involves actively taking part and, in collaboration with stakeholders’ requirements for warehouse capacity, ensuring timely delivery and inventory build-up according to the agreed policies.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, we imagine you:

-Hold a degree in business administration, management, supply chain, operations, engineering, or  another relevant discipline
-Possess proven experience as a people-focused leader who fosters trust, inspires engagement, and prioritises team well-being, preferably in managing other leaders
-Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally in Supply Management
-Showcase outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
-Display fluency in both spoken and written English

Relevant certifications such as APICS CSCP, Six Sigma, and/or project management will be considered as an advantage.

On a personal level, you excel in stakeholder management and communication, with a natural ability to build trust through authenticity and empathy. Your strong interpersonal skills make you an effective leader, capable of coaching and guiding others in a complex, global environment. Known for setting strategic goals and challenging the status quo, you are a forward-thinking leader who inspires those around you, seamlessly collaborating with diverse stakeholders and thriving in dynamic settings. Lastly, you are a strategic thinker, seeking to constantly introduce innovative ideas and solve problems. 

About the Department
Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 650 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
