Type: Internship (thesis possible with Bachelor’s degree)Length: 6 monthsTime: 32 – 40 hours/weekExpected Start Date: as soon as possibleBe part of a large-scale transformation of the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) organization within the Integrated Supply Chain function by closely supporting the GTC emerging compliance team. Assess and validate the compliance of goods flows with Philips policies and financial, fiscal, legal, customs as well as export controls regulatory requirements before implementation by the Business to protect the liability of both Philips and its Customers.Your role:Revising all goods flows impacted by the Philips “Creating value with sustainable impact” program into GFCB system and goods flows documentsSupport GFCB coordinator with processing new and change requests for goods flows, analyzing both its completeness and accuracy as well as requesting any missing informationPro-actively seeking missing information from relevant stakeholders to ensure timely validation of the requestsManage workflow completion of the validation of cross functional specialists about the compliance of submitted goods flows and administrating the requests’ approvals with relevant approval/rejection conditionsImprove completion and compliance control of goods flows approved, implemented and decommissionedYou’re the right fit if:In progress of achieving a Bachelor’s degree related to Supply Chain and international tradeGood communication skills and fluent in English (both written and verbal), Dutch is an additional assetsProactive and autonomous: understand the materiality of a concern and make great judgement call when to or not challenge as well as pro-actively finding the appropriate solutionStrong drive to work with high quality and attention to detailIn return, we offer you:Monthly full-time allowance between €500 – €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rataHousing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hoursTravel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- netPaid holidays per internship termThe opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shopAbout PhilipsWe are a health technology company.
