  • Assist in delivering hands-on cooking lessons, with a focus on providing additional support to SEN students.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during practical tasks, adhering to kitchen safety protocols.
  • Adapt lesson materials and tasks to meet the needs of SEN students, working closely with teachers and the SEN department.
  • Prepare and organise classroom materials and ingredients, maintaining a clean and accessible work environment.
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students meet their learning goals.

📚 Requirements:

  • Experience working in a secondary school environment.
  • Strong background in supporting SEN students in a classroom or practical setting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in a food technology environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for helping SEN students succeed in a practical subject.
