We are seeking an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Advisor to join our client’s team within the wind power industry. This role is client-side, supporting the safe and compliant delivery of the Cable Array Export and Offshore Substation packages. Based either at the project site in North Jutland or the head office in Copenhagen, you will play a key role in ensuring that HSE standards are met across all phases of the project. The role requires a hybrid work setup, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.Key Responsibilities

  • HSE Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with Danish HSE regulations, industry standards, and client policies.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • HSE Reporting: Maintain and report on key HSE performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and accurate communication with the client and project teams.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver HSE training programs and toolbox talks for project personnel, fostering a culture of safety.
  • Contractor Management: Ensure that contractors and subcontractors adhere to HSE requirements, conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Lead the development of emergency response plans and coordinate drills, ensuring readiness for any potential incidents.
  • Client Representation: Act as the client’s representative on all HSE matters, interfacing with stakeholders, contractors, and local authorities to maintain the highest safety standards.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in a client-side HSE role within the wind power or renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of offshore and onshore project environments.

Qualifications

  • AMK-B certification (Danish Health & Safety Coordinator Certification).
  • Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of offshore substation and cable array export projects, with the ability to manage complex HSE challenges in both offshore and onshore settings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Danish proficiency is a plus) with the ability to clearly convey HSE protocols and procedures to diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel to project sites in North Jutland and attend meetings at the Copenhagen office as required.
