Build Sustainable Capabilities: Value is unlocked when we deliver on the opportunities our well-managed data presents e.g. improving customer / colleague experience, increasing revenue, commercialising our data, optimising capital, enhancing risk management or reducing costs.The role primarily supports the Fix The Back Book pillar of the strategy.To continue driving the DAO strategy and help to meet our board level commitments, we are now seeking a high calibre professional and self-motivated Project Manager to join our Data team.
DAO Project Managers plan, mobilise and drive projects of high complexity and scale from project definition to closure. They are responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of projects with multiple workstreams proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, RAIDs, teams, outcomes and benefits.The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for deploying the End User Computing project within Change Framework guidelines and coordinate across teams executing through the AGILE methodology.The initial assignment will be on the End User Computing workstream where the role holder will focus on:

  • Further developing the bank’s approach on defining and implementing control requirements and governance of End User Computing across the organisation. This will include reviewing the existing policies and procedures to ensure they are appropriate and aligned to requirements.
  • Leading key updates and refinement to End User Computing frameworks and controls as necessary.
  • Being the subject matter expert for queries on all matters related to End User Computing
  • From a DAO perspective, be the point of contact and lead on migration of End User Computing processes, workflows, and data from the existing tooling platform to the new strategic tool

The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a dynamic team on a high profile and exciting programme of work.Requirements: • Exceptional understanding of Data management, in particular in the end user environment / end user computing

  • Extensive project management skills and experience of managing large and complex global projects in a change environment is paramount. Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Manager role
  • Strong stakeholder management experience from Exco level to analysts, specialising in impactful communication
  • Proven delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes with strong attention to detail and a solution oriented approach
  • Experience in applying Agile methodology in project and product development
  • PMP / PRINCE 2 certification advantageous
  • Impeccable written, verbal and presentation skills. Exposure and success working within a global matrix organization model
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
