Cubicure is an internationally active high-tech company based in the heart of Europe and since January 2024 part of Align Technology. We develop, produce and distribute system solutions for industrial additive manufacturing. Our patent Hot Lithography process enables the unrivalled 3D printing of durable precision components. We are looking for a Calibration Engineer to support the Print Process Developments at Cubicure GmbH. The Calibration Engineer will work in close collaboration with the users of industrial additive manufacturing systems.

In this position you will develop innovative hardware solutions for R&D applications for both machine calibration and workflow optimization. You will use a variety of industrial measurement equipment to improve and speed up the calibration and maintenance process for industrial large scale 3D printing systems.

In this role, you will… 

  • Develop R&D measurement solutions for calibration of 3D printing systems
  • Support the transfer of calibration routines to technical service
  • Support development of innovative ways to measure and calibrate optical systems

In this role, you’ll need … 

  • completed training in the field of mechatronics, physics, engineering (BSc, MSc)
  • 2+ years professional experience in the field of engineering, mechatronics
  • Experience with calibration and measurement of mechanical setups
  • Scientific, structured way of working
  • Commitment and a sense of safety and responsibility
  • Technical understanding and manual skills
