NR REF.: 1188619As the Head of Group Finance, you are responsible for the planning, coordination and management of all local activities involved with finance, accounting and controlling as well as their aggregation on global and group level. In this role you report directly to the board of management (Chief Commercial Officer), act as the disciplinary leader of the Group Finance Team and the professional leader of all local finance teams in our global organization.
Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the global group finance function with finance teams in Poland, Germany and Bulgaria
  • Professional and disciplinary management of the entire finance area (FP&A, accounting, treasure, tax, etc.)
  • Set-up and improvement of efficient and effective group finance team in Krakow incl. task organization, process alignment and tool harmonization
  • Improvement of financial management reporting in relation to i.e. P&L, balance sheet and liquidity and working capital
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP (i.e. German HGB) and IFRS
  • Consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements within the group
  • Contact for banks, auditors, tax consultants and the shareholder
  • Preparation of financial budgets and forecasts, tax returns as well as short and long-term cash flow projections including active cash management
  • Preparation of deviation analyses and identification of need for action with subsequent initiation and tracking of corresponding measures
  • Improvement of controlling structures and KPI systems to support data-driven corporate management
  • Support the strong growth strategy of the company in all financial matters, i.e. scenario plannings, budgeting, financing and funding
  • Support of production and sales controlling throughout the company
  • Coordination of the global development of local structures

Requirements:

  • University degree in finance & accounting, business administration or economics with strong financial knowledge
  • At least 7 years. professional experience in management consulting/auditing or a well-known industrial company
  • Several years of proven professional and management experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in a global environment with local GAAP reporting, i.e. in Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, USA, Brazil, Japan
  • In-depth knowledge of FP&A, accounting, treasury and tax management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Familiar with and experienced in change processes, such as restructuring, transformation, growth or start-up phases
  • Confident in project management and presentation of results
  • Skiils to negotiate professionally with banks, auditors and other external partners
  • Competent in the use of common tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics and familiar with ERP and accounting systems
  • Very good written and spoken Englishis a must

Nice to have:

  • German at B1/B2 – not mandatory
  • Experience on continuous improvement of financial accounting systems
