As an Operator you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of bulk products that serve as the foundation for our fill-finish department. Your work will directly contribute to the production of high-quality pharmaceutical batches that improve patient health worldwide. You’ll be responsible for dispensing, compounding, and filtrating products within the Manufacturing Operations department, ensuring that our standards of excellence are met every day.Responsibilities

  • Initiating and managing equipment and process starting-up activities according to cleanroom SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
  • Dispensing, compounding, and filtrating sterile products, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
  • Assisting in basic equipment maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering team.
  • Adhering strictly to Health and Safety procedures and good working practices to minimize accidents and incidents.
  • Performing operational duties to improve the overall quality of the final product, maintaining high standards of housekeeping in accordance with cGMP.
  • Actively engaging in troubleshooting and resolving process issues to contribute to the achievement of site performance targets.
  • Completing batch and associated manufacturing documentation accurately and in compliance with SOPs and cGMP standards.
  • Reporting any instances of non-conformance to the management team, taking ownership of the resolution process.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in complex compounding and filling processes is required, particularly in highly regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or medical devices.
  • A high level of education is essential, preferably a degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Dutch or English, with a willingness to improve Dutch language skills if necessary.
  • Ability to set and meet high-performance standards for yourself and team members.
  • Strong capability to work collaboratively as part of an operations team.
  • Ability to work in shifts this role operates on a 16/7 shift schedule, primarily covering morning and evening shifts, with flexibility to move to a 24/7 shift if needed. 16/7 Shift Pattern: Morning (06:00-14:30) and evening (14:00-22:30) shifts with weekends included in the rotation. 24/7 Shift Pattern: Includes morning, evening, and night shifts with a rotation pattern of 2 mornings, 2 afternoons, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off.
  • Willingness to shave beard when necessary, as wearing a safety mask during cleaning and disinfection with high chlorine concentration is required.
