- Design and deliver engaging and informative English lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that fosters a love for reading, writing, spoken language, and critical thinking.
- Develop students’ comprehension, analytical, and communication skills through a variety of engaging activities.
- Prepare students for success in external exams (mention specific exams if applicable).
- Stay abreast of advancements in English language teaching and integrate them seamlessly into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English department and contribute to school-wide events.
We Seek a Candidate Who:
- Possesses a valid QTS in English or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a fervent passion for the English language and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being. (Experience in a Catholic school setting a plus).
