We are hiring experienced colleagues within Utility Support to join the investment project.

The Position

As an Associate Process Engineer, you will participate in project activities for design, construction, testing and validation, for a capacity expansion project. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class design standards from other facilities. 

Our team members take an active part in a competent user organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. To provide structure and transparency, it will be important to set standards and actively manage project risks. We are looking forward to your support in keeping the team focused on implementing known and developing new design solutions where relevant.

The main tasks will be:
•    Monitor quality/performance standards and specifications of assigned project.
•    Participate periodic project meetings and activities (e.g. Design reviews, design risk assessments, FAT, SAT, qualification and validation activities).
•    Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support.
•    Have professional responsibility for pharmaceutical processes and equipment. 
•    Provide proactive support to spray drying process when up running, ensuring that daily operations and equipment always perform with highest output in the right quality.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position you should have:
•    Minimum a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical process engineering, marine engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field.
•    Experience within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and more specifically, technologies applied in purification of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (e.g. spray drying, preparative chromatography, separation, modification, dissolution) is considered a plus. 
•    A solid understanding of unit operations, pharmaceutical processes and documentation. 
•    Relevant knowledge about technology trends within bulk manufacturing. 
•    Full professional proficiency in verbal and written English.
