Who we are:
We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Account Manager to join The Trade Desk, a company that is revolutionizing global advertising through its media-buying platform. In this role, you will support the Italian Client Services team in managing and growing key accounts, collaborating with internal teams to provide strategic recommendations, data-driven insights, and exceptional client service. As an expert in The Trade Desk platform, you will offer guidance to clients, provide training on new features, and contribute to enhancing the platform. What you’ll do:
- Lead the relationship with a small group of brands direct in Italy
- Become an expert on The Trade Desk platform and offer insights to clients on how to implement creative marketing strategies
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales & Trading functions to develop existing accounts and achieve client goals and objectives
- Develop and cultivate relationships with brands as a consultant to their business
- Own the training plan for onboarding new clients, continuing programmatic education, platform improvements, and new channels and markets within the industry
- Organise and lead QBRs in collaboration with Sales and Trading teams
- Able to lead, not just manage tasks; think strategically and multiple steps ahead to move a partnership forward
- Represent client needs by providing feedback to Product Management and Partnerships to identify and define features, integrations and product improvements to The Trade Desk platform
- Help build the Client Services practice, by creating training materials, best practices, sales materials and customer facing guides
Who you are:
- Strong digital advertising and client-facing experience (7+ years)
- Solid programmatic background, ideally with experience at another DSP, SSP, online publisher, agency, MarTech provider or other online advertising role
- Consistent track record of growing accounts by developing a strong relationship with clients, understanding their business objectives and recommending the best strategies for implementing solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills – you can manage difficult conversations with clients and deliver outstanding customer service
- Solid experience in Excel and MS Office and an ability to analyse data sets to build presentations and generate actionable insights
- Ability to thrive in a small, intense, and high growth environment, and to work with teams located across other offices in Europe.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Effective time management skills – ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Willingness to frequently travel to client offices located in Milan and other cities in Italy
