Job Description Summary In this role inside Life Cycle Engineering organization, you will be part of the team who support the in-service military engines.
You will work closely with MRO shop, field management and design teams to reduce shop visit costs, address field findings, ensure that hardware meets customers’ expectations and work to improve engine time on wing.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:Provide all required engineering support to the new make and MRO production lines of the military in service products.Support the MRB process for the disposition of Non Conforming ProductProvide answers to technical queries coming from the field, interfacing with Operators and Field teams.Support investigation process to Identify root causes and corrective actions for in-service issues through an established investigation process (TOPS8D)Execute and owns the change management process, meeting established business standards, practices and procedures, and the product/program requirementsProvide instructions to in-service fleet to ensure airworthiness (e.g. service bulletins)Manage execution through program reviews, problem resolution, and risk abatementQualification/RequirementsMaster’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited universityTechnical Accountability/Ownership and Customer oriented attitudeGood English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oralStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsExperience in management of aeronautical products in-serviceExperience in reliability and statistical analysisWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
