Job description:

Enfinity Global is looking for a Lawyer based in Milan with 10 years or more of work experience, who will be responsible for supporting the Legal Department in managing their daily workflow, both by carrying out specific tasks and by helping them coordinate and keep track of their daily activities and deadlines.

Will need high public law skills and experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector, in order to support the Legal Department in the permitting and regulatory activities aimed at developing, acquiring, financing and operating renewable energy projects in Italy. Experience in additional activities related to the renewable energy sector will also be taken in consideration.

Main activities of this role will be related to:

Permitting, liaising with public agencies and entities, and supporting authorization procedures and operation of powerplants;

Expropriations, concessions, interconnection agreements with TSO/DSOs and with other developers, PPAs, support in M&A or co-development transactions from the public law/regulatory standpoint;

Structure and manage public law legal actions related to the projects and/or the legislative/regulatory activity of the public administration.

This position will cooperate and interact regularly with members of the other teams based in Europe and Italy and will interact and coordinate activities with external advisors. This will make the ideal candidate responsible to deal with a wide range of interlocutors, to communicate effectively within and outside the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Public law, permitting procedures and administrative process with focus in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy powerplants.
• Administrative and judicial claims related to the renewable energy sector.
• Support M&A/JV/financing transactions from the public law side through analysis, negotiation and drafting of legal notes, contracts, and related ancillary documents.
• Knowledge, analysis, and update of the regulatory framework on the electric market and the renewable energy sector.
• Supporting the Legal Department in carrying out their daily activities, scheduling and keeping track of deadlines and priorities.
• Liaising with external law firm, notaries, and other professional entities to monitor the workflow and facilitate various project-related processes, such as authorization procedures, legal verification of documents and filing.
• Interacting with the other teams (Business Development team, Engineers, Accounting) daily in relation to the legal aspects or implications of the projects they manage.
• Drafting basic legal templates.
